Hi, I’m Melissa Shuton!
In my 20s, I was on the trajectory for corporate success, in a long-term relationship, and was healthy and fit, but I wasn’t happy. I was complacent. I was stuck. After a decade of this, I decided I needed to change. I left the unhealthy relationship I was in. And I left the security of a full-time job and started doing freelance work.
The universe was so in support of this, that I never looked for one freelance gig - they all came to me! And I learned to love myself, realizing this was way more important than being in a toxic relationship just to feel loved by someone else.
Things were going well for a while, and then one day, I was listening to a speaker at a work event, and I burst into tears. I realized I was stuck again. I was trapped in my zone of excellence - great at what I did for a living, but I was not enjoying it…I was becoming resentful…and it was affecting my health - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
In that moment, I decided two things: (1) I was ready to focus more on my passion - serving others through holistic healing and coaching and (2) It was time to examine what was keeping me stuck, get unstuck, and reconnect to self-love…igniting my personal journey through the chakras and universal laws.
And this is how The Power of 7 was born.
Now, as a holistic life coach, certified yoga teacher (and yoga-therapist-in-training), and reiki healer, I empower women to heal and transform, to manifest a life they love, and to love themselves completely and unconditionally.
